Northbeam Foldable Adirondack Chair

Bought four of these in a prior sale. Two arrived broken. The wood is very light weight. Would be a decent deal for half this price.

I too purchased 4 of these chairs last sale. I wish I wouldn’t have. They are very cheap. Makes me lose confidence in WOOT. I would say pass.

Very rickety after one season. I’d pay half this price. Spend the extra dough on something heavy-duty.

These things are good fire wood. The folding feature makes them impossible to move around without folding up. Wood is cheap, soft and the screws won’t hold in it. Get some plans, buy some cedar and build your own.

I bought two of these and followed some tips from a previous poster. I drilled some of the tiny pilot holes and used primer, then painted. They are going to stay in a covered patio. They took some time to assemble, but I’m pleased and more importantly, my wife was pleased since they were a gift. Next time I think I would prime and paint they before assembly. You’ll need a socket wrench and a drill to speed things up. The included wrench is a joke.

For the price it’s not bad. I’d suggest painting before assembly. Pretty comfortable but a bit small.

I also bought two of these and also don’t think they’re so bad. I had a broken piece, but when I contacted the company that made these kits they followed through and sent me the replacement piece without hassle. I also recommend painting/staining before assembly. Not a bad weekend project, but it does take awhile.

there is a reason good Adirondak chairs are costly. this is not a Gem of a find at an inexpensive price… unfortunately.

nothing beats a quality Adirondak chair
