Am I the only one that thinks everything on the gourmet section is way over priced?

Maybe its just food in general that’s tough to make money on given its low margin biz plus individual shipping (rather than bulk to one store).

But, if your looking for good Jerk and not trying to get your face ripped off, Damngood is my favorite. Also, if you email them and buy a few bags they will do $15/lb (as opposed to $23 as advertised). We get a bulk order going at the office. Bags last a couple weeks and cant beat the price.

Damn Good Jerky

Bring back wine woot :frowning:

The main reason I came to woot was for wine. Now, I’ve already removed the app from my phone and likely will stop getting the emails.

“Well, the Jerk Store called, and they’re running out of you.”

For those wine woot lovers, which I am guessing is all of us, check out the wine woot co-founder’s new site.

I am inclined to agree. I am willing to pay a bit more for good quality and willing to buy in bulk for better pricing. With Woot gourmet you seem to pay quite a bit more even though it is bulk.

$30 per pound? Marked down from $44/lb!
“Can’t afford the savings” as my grandmother would say.

The way I read it you get 16 4oz packages or 4 Lb of jerky - $15/Lb. Doesn’t sound over priced to me.

Check again.

Eight (8) bags @ Four (4) ounces (oz.) each = 2 pounds (lbs.)

I’d have to agree 30/lb for jerky is really quite a bad deal. Even for good jerky.

Anybody get their’s yet?

Hi there. I don’t see an order for this on the account your posting from.

That said, they’ll likely ship out this next week.

Items on Gourmet are often made to order so they take a bit longer.
