I bought this last time it was on Woot and I use it at least 4-5 days a week. It’s great for smoothies, protein shakes, and soups! And adult beverages as well! It’s not quite a vitamix (or whatever that blender they sell at Costco is) but for the price it’s absolutely amazeballs.
Oh! And the little shake containers ar every durable, I’ve dropped mine on cement a few times and it’s barely scratched. The blade-base for them doesn’t handle ice quite as well as the full blender, but it blends frozen fruits and everything else very well.
A leading consumer testing magazine rates this as equal to the much more expensive product mentioned by another commenter, and it says it is a great value.
Is this the Duo? It is difficult to check for reviews without a model number or some other specific identifier. that link leads to a 1300 watt model when this is listed as 1500 watts.
It looks like this is the official Amazon listing. They’re asking $300 with some very minor differences in the bundle (2 reg and 1 jumbo cup on Amazon vs 1 reg and 1 small on woot). At this discount, I’m in for 1!
