Omega Work Lights

looking at the 50ft powercord that attaches to the ceiling the 94303.

Can any one find if this is UL rated???
There has been too many of these kind of cords starting fires to buy one with out the proper saftey testing.

All Omega work lights and reel lights are UL Listed.

what gauge wire is used on the 94303

It is the 14/3 SJTOW Heavy Duty Cord - Stranded Junior Thermoplastic, Oil and Weather resistant for UL and CSA - (300 Volt).

What guage wire is used on 94306?

Does anyone know what voltage the head runs on? I’m wondering if I can cut off the AC power supply and run the 40 off of 12 volts DC.

It is 16/3 SJTOW Heavy Duty Cord - Stranded Junior Thermoplastic, Oil and Weather resistant for UL and CSA (300 Volts)

The cord uses the SJTOW Type - Stranded Junior Thermoplastic, Oil and Weather resistant for UL and CSA (300 volts).

How many lumens does the 94304 provide? What is the color temperature of the LEDs?

It is 170 - 230 lm on 40 SMD LEDs lights. Sorry that I don’t have the info on the color temperature right now.

Both of the fluorescent ones do. The LED ones do not because they are not natively AC (I.e. the plug is a DC converter, so AC is not in the handle)

Thanks for the reply but it really doesn’t answer my question.

Some specialty incandescent bulbs — appliance bulbs, rough service bulbs, marine lamps, three-way bulbs and the like — are exempt from the ban and will continue to be available for purchase. Buy a three way.

What is the deal on these products anyone ever use them? I cant find any info on them or the manufacture website. The retail is pretty expensive for these even on amazon but no info on them.

Found it, from Shinn Fu Company of America, Inc. Omega Lights Omega Lighting

Re: 94303: How long is the leader cord?

The distributor’s web page notes ’ Select location within 2 feet of an electrical outlet.’
so unless you have a very high outlet or a very low ceiling…

Need the number of lumens of light provided by the 94004 and the 94026.

I hate to point out the obvious, but it’s kinda dumb to offer lights for sale, the sole purpose of which is to provide LIGHT, and not say how much light they provide.

That “specs” tab is there for a reason - and it’s not just to tell us how long the cord is!

You are right. We forgot to add numbers of lumens in the specs.

Here is the lumen info on both lights.

  • 94004 40 SMD Leds - 170 to 230 Lumens

  • 94026 64 SMD Leds - 270 to 300 Lumens
