edit: fwiw, I employ two sets of these mounts in my home. They provide adequate support for light speakers, but at least one in each set seems to droop over time; the plastic doesn’t stay tightly at the angle I choose.
They would also work for holding collections of monkeys…

You’re seriously going to go through the trouble & only mount a speaker that weighs 2.5 lbs or less??? lame.
Just so happen I ran across a good deal on some speakers on deals.woot for my pc. So I pulled the trigger on these.
