I do like it quite a lot. However, my “familial nickname” is Tiger (try living THAT one down, bub, particularly when it is based on “Tiger-Lily” from J. M. Barrie’s “Peter Pan”: what the foo were my parents thinking? Well, at least she is an “independent and strong Native American Princess” even if I’m Dutch-Irish and male old geek) and as a result I’ve looked at lots and lots of tiger photos, drawings, and the like over the past 45 years.
So what, you say? OK, perhaps you don’t say so what. You probably don’t even THINK “So What?” as far as I know.
Basically, the “so what” is that the snout (nostrils, point of mouth, chin) aren’t really sufficiently separated from the rest of the “face”: there should be some spacing. The chin definitely isn’t flat enough at the bottom. The nose isn’t even close to being wide enough. F’r’nstance, look at the photos on “Rescue One Big Cat” - pictures or “Photo Gallery: Tigers” - Tiger Pictures - Tiger Wallpapers - National Geographic
For that matter, the entire shape of the face isn’t right. Basically, it seems quite triangular when most tigers have a nearly circular face (or a nearly rectangular oval). At least the ears are about right, and the body & stance are cool.
Given the taxonomy is more like -
Chordata:Mammalia:Carnivora:Felidae:Panthera:Tigris:subspecies
the asphalt joke (haven’t people been complaining about white, heather-gray, and asphalt a lot lately?) is pretty pathetic.
Oh well. Given the “one line” bit and that it is a nice design, I think I’ll nab one.

Tigers are one of the most majestic creatures to ever walk this earth, its really sad to see them on the endangered species list (as well as all of the other creatures on the list). Based on the description this shirt isn’t really promoting that point, but I’m still in for one. I’ll just tell people my own personal reason for wearing it. Nice job!

This is a cool design. I’m just not into tigers really…not enough to spend the money I don’t have on this shirt anyway. But definite congrats to the designers.

Congrats to the winners. As a non-artist, I am really amazed this week at the entries. However, as a shirt wearer, I wasn’t so amazed with the relatively plain one-color-single-line-makes-a-design shirts that resulted.
