One of our staff just bought the LEGO Titanic set. What's the largest LEGO set you've built? Show us pics!

Like that!?

My largest Lego build was Legoo. Meaning… I am not paying the RIDICULOUS prices Lego wants. I prefer my building bricks the same way I prefer my media. iykyk
I have an assortment of Legos but mostly they’re the botanicals and art ones… I’m not sure which of these is the largest but I’d guess the Sunflowers since I didn’t do it in one day. Though, I do spend a little extra time making hanging baskets for some of the bouquets and smaller sets. Here’s some I’ve put together…
ive been making fun of this guy that i dog sit for … for playing with Legos (he’s like 60yrs old). He was racing some nascar cars this past summer & is on that lego kick right now. He actually started painting a race track on his wall to atrach (w/alien tape) his silly lego cars to. Lol maybe its a guy thing. I always tell him that he’s still a little boy (not the old man that he is)
Those are sweet. I really like the wreath! So i guess that it isnt just a guy think.
You see, when I was a kid, c1970, they didn’t have kits, i don’t think…
Bonus, they’re plants I don’t have to remember to water, just dust every so often.
You’re very creative. I thought that the sunflowers was a painting at first. I’ve never seen legos used like that. The roses are pretty cool also.
The Sunflowers are a set made by Lego based on the van Gogh painting. I can’t take credit for coming up with that.
The Orient Express kit really, really tempted me! Just bought the Sidney Lumet film on 4K.
I bought a psuedo LEGO set of the USS Missouri. 2228 pieces and I got overwhelmed. I bought a couple Christmas Lego sets at Aldi with less than 50 pieces and only put one together think I’m going to give both to my daughter and granddaughter to deal with
Not sure this is my biggest set, but a personal favorite for sure:
Back when the Lego movie firsr came out I built just basic things

The Titanic is a fun build, and I got it done in a week or two, but afterward, you have to get a lighting kit.
My eldest, at 12 now, has a crazy mind for moc builds for years. He has built Star War bases for movies/shows. Now, he is onto trying to create realistic helicopters, like Blackhawk and Chinook. I need to get pics of his stuff.
I am a novice compared to him. I like architecture. I have offical buildings and moc buildings of various sizes. My largest set with an unknown quantity of bricks is work-in-progress museum. It houses official sets like dino skeletons and Jurassic Park dinos that were orphaned when my boys were younger. Hope the photos turn out:

I am five times his age and I ain’t building NOTHING without detailed, step by step instructions!
Do y’all watch any of the “Lego Masters” shows?
I’ve only caught shorts. We should find them streaming. It would be interesting to see how those master builders think.
My eldest can look at something and start visualizing pieces and build techniques. Though, his processing is a lot like an artist. If it doesn’t feel right to him, he isn’t satisfied and reworks the whole thing.
If I may, I highly recommend the Australian version over the US version. Less… agenda, more Lego. Besides, the host and the Brick Master are more gooder to watch.
