Time to check out the product page

This one is the correct set.

You have Onkyo on your shelves (e.g. receivers & speakers) so why not have them on your ears?

And let the iOS vs Android grumbling begin…

What is Control Talk?
Is it just the buttons on the cord?

Do these things work with the IPhone 6 and 6 PLUS?

Well the product page linked above ought to answer that for you…

So I don’t want these for an apple device, I want them to plug into my roku remote.

I don’t care about the controls on the cord, just want to know if this is a high quality headset at a good price, that is compatible with non-ios devices - or does the sound quality go out the window?

Anyone know how good the microphone is on this headset? I’m looking for a replacement headset for gaming and Skype calls.

You have have?

It was a long day. Cut me some slack.

per Woot Staff:

Control Talk gives users on-cable control to your iPhone, iPod or iPad music library, as well as easy, high quality hands-free calling. Control-Talk enables the user to gain quick-access to music playback controls, like volume, play/pause and tracking, without having to dig for your iPad, iPod or iPhone.

I hope this information is helpful!

Did someone say “hip hopera”?

i’d be wary of trying to power those big drivers in the headphones from the roku remote. i think you’d be happier with something with less Nominal Impedance:: 32 Ohms here, i guess you need closer 8 (there exist 2 Ohm/Ω models)

I don’t own a pair but the Onkyo proprietary connection on the cable along with the bad feedback I found in a few seconds on Amazon is enough for me to stay away.

I believe Onkyo is using the MMCX connector just like any other brands so you can always buy a replacement cable if it breaks down.

This. Well done!
