To be honest, I’m not sure I want a “Smart” Ice maker. I might be worried that the ice was conscious, and that forcing it to melt to cool down a drink might be cruel and painful… the ice silently screaming in my drink cup until it’s very existence was snuffed out.
Kinda gruesome. I think I’d prefer non-sentient ice.
