So I might be crazy but I think the discount price is either wrong or the original price is too low. It looks like I would be buying this for MORE than the retail price! But please someone enlighten me, I could be crazy

These stones are man-made, so their actual price is debatable (i.e., whatever the mfg thinks the market will bear). To the extent these may not faithfully reproduce the characteristics of the real stones, their value will be less. Opal is incredibly difficult to evaluate in photographs. The optical characteristics will make-or-break the perceived value… Anyone serious about selling these needs to present a clean video showing the fire and flash of the material in motion - NOT easy.
