I’m assuming these don’t have any support for PCMCIA cards… as in my broadband access card which would make this thing worthwhile, right?

#5

These things are fantastic for anyone who travels outside of their living room. Does anybody know if this particular model can take a beating from the kids?

#6

ohhhhhh I WANT ONE, BUT THE SCREEN IS SOOOO SMALL

#7

too much for my budget as well…

anything about this being ready for when Vista comes out?

#8

link to the video demo!

I’ve been wanting one of these since they came out. Anyone have one?

#9

802.11b ??? Wilma!

#10

THEY ARE SELLING FOR 550 USED ON EBAY SO 799 FOR NEW ISNT THAT BAD. STILL TOO MUCH FOR ME

#11

Why is this better than a PDA?

#12

Sounds great, but I’ve never heard of OQO.

#13

I wonder how well (read: painfully) this would run Vista…?

#14

The tablet pc before tablet pc’s were cool.

#15

…but does it run Linux?

#16

Does this thing have “stereo” sound when using headphones?

#17

Cheapest Froogle has it for is 1,279, but seems more like a novelty item than anything. Not sure I really want to use a computer with a 5" screen…

#18

Because it’s a whole PC, and runs everything that a full-size PC would, just about, instead of a limited subset of programs with ‘similar’ functionality.

#19

Thats what I’m saying… Thats it? if it were g, I might consider… but not b… Its 2007, not 2001 (Speaking of, WHERE’S MY N?!?)

Mentions a model to be introduced next week at CES comes w/ cellular capabilities.
