What is the point of the shelving collapsing?
Cool design, but I can’t think of a situation where a shelf hasn’t needed to remain open and continually shelf like for it’s entire life.
Sometimes you need to store your storage. Collapsing is easier than disassembling.
As a traveling vendor, this design is brilliant. Something that can be quickly and efficiently collapsed to load into a car before traveling to the next venue? Not just a want it item, a NEED it item.
I bought the origami shelves a long time ago and just today managed to drag out the boxes. I was literally amazed at how easy they are to set up. The hardest part is getting into the boxes! Pull out, unfold, and latch. 
Gotta love it.
Baught 3 of the oragami 4 shelf units about a year ago on woot. I dont need anymore but still find myself wanting to buy them just because. So easy to set up, and very sturdy.
