Can anyone who has experience with these shelves tell me if they could be used as a wine rack in that half folded positition. Basically, does it lock in the half folded position?
It should not be used in an unlocked position.
I have three different shelves - including this model - from Origami and here’s the thing about them - they are the best shelves made when used as intended - for example my son owns them all now and he has one in his dining room that works as a bookshelf in the literal sense but also has one in his mud room that has more support in the design and therefore has been used in every part of the house whereas the others work in the decorative sense as well . It doesn’t matter what function we’ve used them for before he inherited them they’ve always been the best furniture of its kind so he knew to ask for this brand specifically . Hopefully that helps you personally figure out if they’ll work for your needs.
