I don’t need this now. I got one of the contact grills with the built-in thermometer and doneness control (and ceramic plates), all for the price of 5 of these thermometers. No fragile wires that quit working after a few months (and cost $9 each for replacements), no replacement AA batteries.

Well, I got the one another poster found that was significantly less at the mothership…

But if you want something like this, it’s a decent price. Amazon has them for $25 right now. Realize that it has 2 1/2 out of 5 stars and many users report they tend to be flaky.

Piece of junk. Tried to install the wireless app on a tablet and was informed that it wouldn’t run on a tablet - which makes no sense whatsoever.

Installed it on an HTC One M8 phone running Android Lollipop and:

  1. It wanted access to my camera!
  2. Refused to pair with the phone

So it doesn’t work for me on very ordinary devices running Android.

Also junk. The LCD screen would not come on. Not worth the trouble of returning after getting into the incredibly annoying package. Do no buy.
