I’d like to point out that the filters combine cost approximately $200. That’s every 6 months. The issue with all ppl is that the upkeep is expensive and if you don’t religiously change the pre-filter you will damage the RO. This model in particular does not specify what contaminants it actually filters out, such as lead or chromium. There are lots of public water water supplies that have contaminants that are not federally regulated. Their website stays that they filter sediments and minerals, which is great for taste, however, it is useless when we desire pure and safe water. I would recommend looking at hydrovive if you are interested in RO units, or aquaox for whole home systems. Too many of these filters are trash and don’t do what they’re supposed to do, correction, what they lead us to believe they do.
