Otium M10 Bluetooth Noise Cancelling Headphones

Does it really have noise cancelling.

“noise canceling” gets defined differently. Sometimes it’s active noise canceling, that mutes things like air conditioning and airplane noise.

Then there’s the kind that just blocks your ear canal with a plastic plug.

Which are these? It’s not clear.

(most active canceling headphones cost a lot more than these)

You are correct. I checked the Amazon title and it has CVC 6.0 Noise Cancelling technology. CVC is for Clear Voice Capture, which uses embedded algorithms to cancel out external sound, other voices, music, and ambient noise like the wind when you’re making a call.

Most expensive noise cancelling headphones use extra hardware with digital signal processing (DSP) to collect ambient noise. With more sophisticated structural build like better curvature around ears to physically prevent noise, You are talking about at least a 3-digit price.

Mine already arrived today and for the price I paid I’m pretty satisfied. They do indeed cancel out room noise and actually have nice bass and surround sound for being earbud type headphones.
