Even after 10 hours in bright California sunshine the battery only added 50% of its capacity. If you tried to rely on this to keep a full charge in the wilderness, you’d never be able to after a day or two.
If you have a new USB iPhone, and the power bank is less charged than your phone, the power bank will actually TAKE power from your phone, not give it. Better quality power banks won’t do this.
This power bank claims to be 10,000 mAh, but in my testing its actual capacity to charge is only 5100 mAh.

Truth! I found that charging this with a wall jack is way more efficient. I bought it for all the different plugs it provided, but the solar panel is like a gimmick than a real thing.
