Outlier Chardonnais Napa Valley Chardonnay (4)

Flan? Say what! Definitely got my attention being that I am from D.F. and grew up with flan…only problem is I dislike oak bombs or butterbombs…chard my least favorite white varietal unless it is unoaked which I sometimes enjoy in the vein of Iron Horse. Question: where in the spectrum is this wine?

Overall I’d say it’s pretty down the middle between oak butter bomb and lean steel chard. It has oak spice, and a nice tactile creaminess, however it does not have the overwhelming “fake-butter” aroma that it often seen. It also has a definite lack of the “funky oak”
