This particular version of Ovaltine is apparently made in / intended for the S.E. Asian market, and is Amazon item B0048U7ULK. Possibly the costs of bringing it into the US from there is why the price is so high compared with the "made for USA versions, most of which (in slightly smaller 12 oz. canisters) are significantly cheaper.
