What material is this slicer made of?
Morning. From Amazon:
Material Stainless Steel
Quick question - the photos show the “Steel” model, but the color is listed as the “Black & Steel” model. Can you confirm which of the two is being sold?
It’s the black and steel as shown.
Sorry, to be clear - the Black & Steel is not the model shown in the pictures.
If you compare to the product listing on the mothership, the photos on the Woot listing are of the “Steel” model. The “Black & Steel” model has dark gray side panels down the length of the whole mandoline.
Im trying to ascertain which model it is, since if it is in fact the Black & Steel model being sold - it’s a fair bit cheaper on the mothership.
The shipped item is the plastic V-Blade Mandoline Slicer. Stainless steel blade and all plastic enclosure.
Huh, that’s strange. I received the correct item - the straight bladed Mandoline 2.0 Slicer in a stainless steel enclosure. If you received something different to that, personally I’d return it!
I have the plastic one and it’s really awesome. I actually like it better than my SS one; unless all you’re going to slice are potatoes.
