I have these - here is my take.

1] The digital output pretty much only works in Android with the Samsung S3, S4 and S5.

2] I couldn’t get this to work digitally on my ipad air, but, with the correct cable did get it to work on my Son’s 2nd gen ipad.

3] All other devices will required good 'ol analog 3.5mm patch cables.

4] Don’t expect a lot of volume out of these – or bass. Unless you’re short on space you can do better by looking at some other computer speakers for the same money.

5] They do look pretty nice on a desktop.
