Wow, this seems like a horrible device; it basically doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do. I need a new BDP, and was considering this, thanks for your post.

Well, I can see that some folks have really blasted this player and Panasonic in general. I bought one and got it in two days! Fastest Woot shipping EVER. I hooked it up and everything works fine. It plays DVD’s beautifully. It connects quickly to Netflix and to Youtube. I couldn’t ask for more and at this price it’s a drop dead bargain.

Ordered two, received them today, neither will power on using the remote or power button on the unit. Big disappointment.
