When did Woot start selling antiques?

Looks like the 2nd model listed is less than 18 months on the market, for model KX-TG385SK

Now I think there may be a typo in the model number, typed in bold, on the first model listed on the landing page for these cordless phones

[MOD: Model number seems correct.]

Got the 3HS on a previous Woot. Easy setup and worked well. Good battery power and headset range. Sound quality is meh, quite a bit of white noise in the background. I didn’t get to try the link-to-cell feature as the phone recently got fried in a lightening storm.

I also got the 3H model in last Woot. Nice big buttons, easy to use, good range & SQ for me so far.

does your phone have to be unlocked for this to work?

Got the 5-phone version via Woot 1-2 months ago. With it, I can block 250 callers. Those spoof numbers that claim to be from’123-4567’? BLOCKED. Caller 100-000-0000 ? BLOCKED. The local Congressperson whose caller ID says “US Govt” ? BLOCKED. With the blocked calls, we hear the phone ring once, then stop. The blocking feature alone provides $60 worth of entertainment. Oh, yeah…they work and the battery life is fine.

No. The link2cell connects via bluetooth similar to a phone headset.

Got the 5 set last time, about 1 month ago. They work very well, have great range, sound is good, and all features work. I love these phones, and used them to replace a mish mash (technical term) of other Pana handsets and answering machine. Very good price, even it they aren’t latest gen. Really, who cares if there is a newer different model? Nothing important has changed. I think these are a good value.

I bought the 3 handset version last time for my mother. She is moving into my house in a few weeks and I don’t have a land line. I moved her home number to a cell and she’s been all mobile for almost 2 weeks now. Its going fine (fingers crossed). She says the sound quality isn’t perfect, but its fine.

She’s 75 and loves talking on the phone… so I’m thinking this is a pretty good review from her.

I understand the link2cell can sync to 2 cells. For clarity can this system connect to 1 landline and 2 cells via BT at the same time?

I like the fact that I can leave my cell alone while it charges and not have to carry with me while at home. Link2Cell works great!

I see a phone line is included “in the box.” Am I correct to assume that means these phones can be used as a direct landline (service not included, of course) and are not solely dependant upon using BT from a cell phone? Considering getting these for the kids’ Ooma box. Thanks!

Does this work with a landline and 2 cell phones?

I do use these via my Ooma without any issuses.

I have same question on if you can sync with more than 1 cell phone. We have 4 in the house.

Also, I assume if you are using it in the house and decide to leave, you just pick up the cell phone and keep talking via cell? Not clear on if when using it, you are on cell minutes or home phone minutes and if can hop back and forth.
