It is from a different sub seller but the MS has spools of the same amount for only $16.98, which is $.07 per foot as opposed to this for $.09 per foot, even with the 10% off for Prime members on the app. Plus more color options. Just saying.
Not sure. But I’m seeing $32.99 for 250ft, not $16.98.
“One can never have too many carabiners, too much paracord, or enough 10mm sockets.”
…Angus “Mac” MacGyver
(Oh yeah? Prove he didn’t say it.)
Yep just different seller and slightly diff type on the one I saw. Obviously can’t be compared straight across.
Extreme Max 3008.0459 Type III 550 Paracord Commercial Grade - 5/32" x 250’, Black https://a.co/d/1v5dFtk
Yeah, that’s like asking your grocery store to lower the price on Libby’s Green Beans because Jolly Green Giant’s are on sale. Doesn’t worth that way.
I know. I was just letting others know that there was another brand option. My bad.
This stuff supposedly shipped to me TWICE via DHL (Ive never had a package delivered by DHL) and BOTH TIMES the tracking number did not exist. Still no paracord, but at least my refund was finally processed. Just gotta ask, WTH?
Hi there. Looks like it’s actually shipped via USPS. Tracking starting with 921 is USPS. They’re on the way to you. Not sure why it was noted as DHL. I’ll ask about that.
You may still get them. USPS is slow and it’s still tracking.
I opened my package that had the spools in it and both of the spools are packed in bubble wrap with Chinese labels. They both say Made in China and the spools have nothing written on them. I bought these because the description had this:
Made in the USA. Paracord Planet’s 550lb paracord is made in the US by certified US government contractors ensuring strength and durability.
Paracord Planet is a US owned business and strives to supply you with the best and toughest cord you need for any situation!
Nothing indicates that these were made by Paracord Planet.
I found this using the label on the brown one:

And here is what I found using the label on the black one:

If I wanted to shop at AliExpress and buy Chinese paracord I would have. This is bait and switch and I hope that Woot cuts ties with the supplier that misrepresented this item.
Thank you for the feedback. I sent this to the sports team. Reach out to customer service.
I got a response from CS but I have no idea how they decided this was an appropriate response:

I was very clear that I was sent fraudulent items so I don’t understand this response.
Our buyer is still talking to the vendor to figure this out. CS wouldn’t have know that. Hang on for a bit.
Update: I’ve seen the invoice from the company showing their purchase from Paracord Planet. Not sure if yours was a misship or what yet though. They’re still digging in. I see that CS took care of you today.

Alright, just out of curiosity, was I the only one to be sent the wrong paracord? And if so, how and why? It’s been several days now.
Possible. They showed us photos of what should be shipping and it was the reels inside a box.
Hang on, what now?
You mean that there are people that still haven’t received their orders? And what does that mean? The spools I got were in bubble wrap mailers, what am I, pond scum, chopped liver, why did I get sent chinesium instead of what I ordered?
Granted I don’t have the inside scoop to snag up all of these:
But I thought that maybe I might be able to get the product that was advertised.
I don’t know. I don’t work there. And all orders have shipped. Not sure where you read that they haven’t.
Oh c’mon.
