Am I reading correctly - it doesn’t include a charger? So do we need to buy a charger separately to fly it the first time?
TIA!

That is correct. Give a kid a gift that they can’t use right away, and you aren’t their favorite uncle anymore…At least that’s what happened to me…lol.

In all seriousness, the charger (which I believe comes with an extra battery) is around $20.

NOTE - You can charge via USB to computer, but it does take 1.5 hours to charge. For 7-9 minutes of flying.

These use a standard USB cable. Cable is in the box but you can charge it from a phone charger, PC, or TV if you’re desperate.

How do you control it if you do not have an ipad, cell phone, etc.???
Not such a good deal if you have no controller.

Junk without a hand held radio, this is why they didn’t sell.

I have the Parrot Spider mini from previous woot offer and it is the first drone that I can actually fly. Using an Android phone or tablet (or i-device) makes it much easier to fly than my five other drones that require a “controller”.

The battery can be charged with any phone/tablet plugin charger, or the above mentioned sources.

In mid-2017, it is fair to assume that someone interested in a drone already has a charger for their phone or tablet.

The issue in not charging, but flying - I can charge it using the computer - and while it may be 2017, I have more to do that talk on a phone all day, so I do NOT carry a cell phone and have only a desk top, which really is not all that portable.

Or, it could be the original
+100.00 price.

For me, a phone/tablet allows for better control than a mechanical controller.

Then these are not the drones that you are looking for.

Thank you!
