Might want to update your description, this drone isn’t small.

I purchased the power version of this drone a few weeks ago. I recommend buying two though, as it’s cheaper than buying the repair parts separately. Before you fly it, you should upgrade the landing gear with zip ties. Just Google ar zip tie mod. It ain’t pretty, but it will save you from having to buy a replacement central cross when you have a hard landing, or an unexpected gust of wind flips it over.

I surely hope the software on the APP is a heck of a lot better than the two I bought last month. Can’t control them. CS at Parrot is useless. They are in a box. There they will stay

It uses the same software, and I agree, it’s trash.

Is it the App that’s bad or the firmware.
Someone on Amazon review said you can Putty(Telnet) into it and install different firmware.
Thanks

It’s wifi and designed to be controlled out of the box with a smartphone or tablet. You can modify it to use a different controller, but the out of box experience isn’t great. I haven’t tried it yet, but the app also works with hid compliant controls on android, there are controls available for iOS, I just can’t remember the standard.

Unfortunately ours showed up without a battery :frowning: Now working with Woot CS to figure out next steps (they say return, I say send a battery from Amazon …)

I’m sorry for the problem. Did you contact Tech Rabbit (warranty) to get them to send you one?

Thanks! Will try that now!
