Microphone?

Yes, there is mic, pretty good, btw.

These are really solid headphones and the audio quality and microphones are awesome! One thing to watch out for though are the ear cups. There’s a widespread issue with the 2.0s where the inner lining separates from the padding and exposes the foam. I had to send mine in after a few months to get a replacement.

So are the replacement pads better?
Since these are refurbs I would assume the pads have been replaced already, maybe.

For $25 difference, which one makes a better deal? Any experienced users here? Thanks!

From all of the comparisons I’ve read…the Zik 2.0 are significantly better in almost every way. They are lighter, have a longer battery life, better noise cancelling, more microphones. The one con (which is significant to me) is that the Zik 2.0 has a inferior build quality. Many people have indicated that their ear cups fell apart within 3 months exposing the foam underneath. That’s a dealbreaker to me. I’m going with the original Zik’s for that reason. The Amazon reviews for those are much better.

Thanks, the original version then.

Plus the “parrot” on the 2.0s just looks bad

Hoping this is the case.
Adds 2.0 to cart

These are horrid pieces of junk! You will be paying for a paperweight!!

Worst purchase I have ever made on Woot…

I hope these headphones last because so far they are awesome. The sound is incredible. They are not worth $400 bucks, but they are certainly worth $87 bucks. The only complaint that I have is that there is a giant “E” stamped on the inside of the right ear pad. Anyone else have a big ass letter stamped on theirs?
