Thanks. I thought maybe they’d give you the glass and other parts to put together yourself. Maybe instructions for grinding the glass, too. 
The K-X doesn’t have any weather sealing. You would have to go up to the K-7 or K-5 for that.
damn I was about to buy this then the next woot item appeared.

The other option is to find a deal on a K-20. In general, I would recommend the K-x to people because of the low light performance and improved autofocus features over the K-20, but the K-20 offers weather sealing, higher MP count, and a laundry list of features you only find in high end cameras.
If you’re new to photography, though, there’s really not a better deal on the market than these K-x’s and especially the K-r’s when they go on sale.
I missed this deal and I’m so upset. I watched all day and had to leave to go pick my son up from school. Crap!
