Pet crates can also be for when you leave the house to keep your couches and other items from being destroyed. Safer for them in many cases, especially if they’re puppies, chewers, etc.
Does this come assembled? Would you be able to leave the door off?

It doesn’t come assembled. And the vendor confirms that the door can be left off.
Agreed, and for a lot of nervous dogs / dogs with separation anxiety etc., it’s actually safer to be in a crate!
