Either non-savory uses (when people don’t realize you’re taking pictures) or pictures of yourself (I think this is the primary purpose).

When you buy a digital camera it’s the lens you are buying, the rest is common to almost all of them… with this model you are getting about a $2.00 lens in a nice wrapper.
