While they work just fine as traditional light bulbs, they didn’t turn themselves off during the day. Rather disappointing, that last bit.
i dont see my on during the day, but they start to light up at least an hour or two before dusk. i live in a shady area.
will see how they perform in winter when it is generally dimmer in the daytime.
