I got one last time these were up. It went together easily, but I realized that one of the pre-put together pieces had some cracks in it (they were parts already screwed together. I contacted Woot.com and they had no help for replacing/returning. I contacted the folks at Merry Garden and they sent out a replacement piece immediately. Really nice folks there!

It had to spend the winter outside, and our winter has been surprisingly mild, but it came through like a champ!

I believe these are accurate specs:

A lot. I’m a BIG girl and have often sat on one side while another healthy adult sits on the other.

I have also used it as bench with two substantial adults sitting side by side.

I purchased this last year when available. It is fantastic. Pretty handy for a smaller space where you only want a picnic table part of the time. Fairly easy to assemble and good quality wood.

Is it comfortable to use as a bench? We often sit on our porch for an hour on summer weekends and read the paper. Would it be comfortable for that length of time?

Also, how difficult it is to change from a bench to a picnic table and back?

This is better than the donuts from my local shop! Those jokers actually charge extra for the holes.

Very easy. It is a neat design. One person can convert it in 5 seconds.

Be aware that the picnic table is small. The table top is only 19" wide by about 54" long.

I have two of these and have had them at least 3 years.

At present I use them to hold my cat cages as I have 7 inside and like them to get a breath of fresh air.

They have held together very well considering I have dragged them around quite a bit.

I bought these at a reduced price and had to stain them myself.
