Pinnacle Home Theater Speakers

Bought a pair of pinnacle speaker didnt like it. Didn’t know woot dont take returns. Any suggestions?Or any chance to trade for higher model?

I was told that my Onkyo 535 does not have enough power to supply my speakers. If I purchase the Baby Boomer with a 660 watt amp, can I play my speakers a pair of speakers off the subwoofer?

sorry but no. the subwoofer amp is dedicated for powering only the subwoofer. your receiver is 115 watts in a 2 channel setup and 65 watts in 5.1.

I don’t know of any options for you in terms of trading/upgrading, but I am curious as to which model you got. Do you mind sharing?

Woot does accept returns with some conditions.

What speakers did you buy and what did you not like about them?

65x5 should be more than enough to power any set of bookshelf speakers to good levels.

Hi Arin,

Quick question: I’m trying to decide whether to get 2 pairs of the 3 element LCRs as surrounds or 2 pairs of the BD500s as surrounds. My fronts have 6.5’’ woofers. Also wanted to make sure that the BD500 weight per speaker is 9 lbs.

Good question Hokie as I was wondering the same thing.

Additionally would the BD700 Center + either the LCR’s or BD500’s for surround + S-Fit TWR1050’s (Can’t afford the BD towers) for the main be a good pairing?

I’ve had almost the entire BD line and overall they are great.

But I personally wouldn’t mix and match the BD and the S-Fit lines unless you have future goals to upgrade everything to the BD’s.

As a center I would use the S-FIT CTR 350 and the S-FIT MON 450 for the rears/surround. Though you will have to wait for the next sale for the 450’s.

I would pick the 450’s over the 3 element LCR speaker because the LCR seems to have a different midrange than the rest of the S-FIT line. To what level of difference that will make, I don’t know.

Hello Hokie Pokie (and turn yourself around) Sorry, I could not resist.

I do think as surrounds the 3 Element LCR’s are perfectly adequate. But, BD 500 do have considerably more bass, so if the room is large or you want more bass, go to BD 500.

They do weigh 9 pounds each speaker.

Great answer, but I think SFITMON 450 is sold out.

Last year, I bought the SubCompact8 (PS Sub 8 300) and was satisfied with it. Therefore, on February 15th, this Sunday, I purchased the Pinnacle Dual 12" 800W Powered Subwoofer. When it arrived, I noticed that the front cover was off and that one of the four small plastic rings was out and spit. Now on the inside face of the cover there are four flat plastic buttons which do not adhere to the speaker. What is the resolution for this ? New front cover ? Send the sub back ?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
