I bought a set of the bd2500 floorstanders and the bd700 center last when they were on sale here about 2 months ago.
I was wondering if you recommend a specific period for break-in, or if I can start cranking these puppies now?

Hi and thanks for the purchase. Initial break in would be for 8-10 hours and you can “CRANK THE PUPPIES” increasingly as the break in develops to more hours. The BD series sounds remarkably good at lower and normal listening levels as well as at high volumes.

Hi, Arin! I replied to your personal email on 1-27-15. I still have not heard. I know this is unlike you and Pinnacle, but I don’t know where else to request your help. Can you reply to my email when you are able?

To any one else - I have purchased almost 40 Pinnacle speakers from WOOT and currently enjoy 10 from the BD series. They are wonderful and the service is (normally) top notch!

Visually, these remind me of Polk Monitor II series that I own (and love). Are there any audiophiles in woot-land who have an objective comparative take between the two speaker families?

For the dual bass subs, are there two seperate enclosures that should be connected or two cones in one enclosure?

The designs utilize 2 active subwoofers in 1 enclosure.
This approach increases cone surface area to give the bass response of a much larger woofer without the drawback of a large enclosure.

At 29 pounds I want to ask…Does the BD 700 Series II have wall mount bracket sockets?

Also, how well with that center pair with the center that came with the MB 11500+ audiophile 5.1 system?

Specifically asking because I’m not really happy with the sound production coming from the Center. Driving it with a Denon AVR-X2000.

Hi,

I suggest BD 300 for the step up center in your MB 11500+ system. I think BD 700 would overpower the system, but BD 300 is going to be a perfect upgrade.
