Pinnacle Speakers

Hello WOOT community. I am Arin with Pinnacle Speakers, TEAM LEADER consumer division. Pinnacle is a family owned and operated USA based company, established in 1976. That’s 38 years and nearly 4 decades. We are the oldest independently owned and operated USA-based speaker company with the longest running management team in the industry. We are famous in the Speaker and consumer electronics industry and known specifically for superior performance, innovative engineering and old-fashioned, personal service.

STEREOPHILE MAGAZINE’S PETER MITCHELLE said our product was “SHOCKINGLY GOOD FOR THE MONEY”. That was a $700 pair of superb full size bookshelf speakers. Stereo Vision (formerly Stereo Review Magazine) said, “Pinnacle’s model sounds almost as good as our reference Speakers costing twenty times as much”. They were comparing a tiny shelf speaker @ $149 to their studio reference Speakers of $3,000. We do it time and again!! We make amazing products and have sold millions of speakers. We have products ranging from “BUDGET AUDIOPHILE” to TRUE AUDIOPHILE up to $8,000. We offer these exclusive and honestly ridiculous “no brainer” deals to WOOT as an exclusive buy it now, snooze or lose opportunity.

I will be here monitoring the forum to assist in answering any and all questions regarding our products. I have been with Pinnacle for 10 years and I will proudly tell you,we make terrific products. I am quite knowledgeable about our products and speakers in general, but if something is technically beyond me, I have access to one of our audio engineers for the highly technical questions. There is no such thing as a “DUMB” question. These are complicated decisions. So, if you have a question, please ask. Chances are your question will also help many other Woot forum people.

I am a specialist in Pinnacle, although I cannot speak for other company products, I can try to assist in building a system with our products and some existing items you may already own.

Thanks for your participation in this forum

How do these connect? I see no picture of the rear.

S-FIT MON 450 2-Element Rear Vented Shelf Monitors

Hi, in the rear are gold plated binding post terminals which accept speaker wire. Connections go to your Receiver.

Also in the rear is our patented port design.

These are exceptionally good particularly with their bass output!

Hey Arin!
I’m waiting for that BD700 you promised. Careful, or you’ll get a reputation…

These speakers look amazing. (Pinnacle Speaker S-FIT TWR 1050 5-Element Floor Speaker)
Just trying to get a visual of where the airport and the connectors are located on these speakers.
Also is there a BASS vent at the bottom of the speaker.

SOON! I promise.

Thanks

ARIN

Hi and thanks for the questions. They are indeed amazing and the WOOT exclusive promo price makes it a fabulous bargain, truly.

The rear has gold plated binding post connectors. And they are ported in the rear of the products.

Thanks,

ARIN

Hello,

Bought the Element 5, waiting for delivery.

Can these be bi-wired? Amazon says they can but webpage and Woot say nothing about it. Also, do I need a subwoofer or bass has enough impact? Are these made in USA?

I think the fact that Pinnacle sends someone to help customers speaks highly of them as a company. Congrats!

Ugh. It looks like I’m about to spend the wad on the towers, the sub, and the 450’s for rears and 250’s for a temp center channel and then make them into a 7.1 system later… Unless someone speaks up and says DONT DO IT! I also was considering the bd500’s for the rears, but…

Hi and thanks for your purchase, your compliments and your questions.

Model SFITTWR 1050 is not biampable. The bass is considerable considering 4" drivers, but I do recommend a subwoofer for maximum effect. In a large room, PSSUB 225 is a good choice. For a room under 300 square’ our Baby Boomer Subwoofer is a spectacular choice. Look for that in an upcoming event or pick up PSSUB 225 now. Can also wait till you receive the SFITTWR 1050 and assess the bass for your own needs before spending on a subwoofer.

ARIN

Hi, Excellent and matched choices. I do not think BD 500 is necessary for rear in this set up. SFITMON 450 have plenty of bass and I think the extra cost of BD 500 is best if used in front, not rear. So, I endorse your choices! Be ready to be amazed!

I’m going to post in every pinnacle thread I see on woot:

I bought the s-fit towers and center channel and the sound for that price is unbelievable. I’d never heard of pinnacle before and took a chance, and the gamble paid off. I think the sound quality is better than Klipsch speakers at twice the price.

Thanks Arin! I’m just about to make the plunge, you sure you can’t throw in some of that pertty Monster cable too?!?

I hope you’re right!! I’ll soon find out for myself!

Thank you. “Jump in the water is fine”. You will be astounded I am sure!

ARIN

Thank you. For nearly 40 years we are famous for audiophile performance and superior value, even at $8000/pair. These EXCLUSIVE WOOT deals just make it that much more spectacular. We appreciate the kind remarks.

ARIN

They are right. I grabbed a pair of sfit towers, BD300 center and a subsonic dual 6" woofer to redo the sound in my theater room a few months back. I can’t brag more about how incredible the sound quality is.

The TWR-1050’s have got the be hands down the best bang for the buck on tower speakers. I’m being nothing but honest when I say I would have easily paid $800 for the pair and felt like I got my moneys worth.

Aw, bring back the baby boomer. I missed it the first time around.

Arin,
I bought the QP9 speaker bar, 2 of the 1050 towers, and the 225 sub a few months ago. They are undoubtedly as good as advertised. I tried using the speaker bar for left/center/right and the 1050s for back surrounds. I decided to move the 1050s to left/right and use the soundbar for center and front height. I abosolutely love the 1050s. I need new back surrounds now. Am I wasting my money by using the 1050s all the way around? Do you recommend a different setup? I’m also considering getting away from the QP9 because I don’t know that it fits with this system. What do you suggest? I’m running this setup through a Marantz SR5008 if that helps.
