Purchased this last time it was up. Fit my need perfectly as the tv stand I am using for a secondary TV is too small for a quality sound bar and not a location I want a full AV system. I am happy with the sound quality this produces and it linked easily with my Logitech Harmony 880 remote. Also, some reviews have complained of bluetooth dropoff with smartphones. I have linked both apple and android phones and have had no difficulties with either of them.

It says you can put monitors on top of it - what kind of weight can the box support?

I own one of these – great sound. Easy to set up. A real Bargain. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but gets the job done.

Remote is a bit small but it’s easy to teach the unit to use your TV’s remote. (I use it with a Harmony 650 universal, which works great)

Having said that – it does not produce the booming bass you’d get with a separate subwoofer (this is a plus for me). Also, your inputs are limited to one optical and one analog, so you’ll probably be using your TV to control other devices (not a negative for me.

At least 50 pounds. This thing is a tank.

The case is rock solid. I have a 46" Sony on top it.

According to CNET: "This speaker is a colossus, measuring 28 inches wide (71cm), a significantly tall 4.75 inches (12cm) and 16 inches (41cm) deep. While Pioneer doesn’t specify a weight limit for the TVs it supports, the company specifies that it “accommodates most TVs 55 inches and smaller” and that you should allow “at least 1 inch [2.5cm] of clearance surrounding the stand.”

Bought it…Sure hope it’s compatible with my LG!
