I’ve worked with a lot of these, and I highly recommend! There are some caveats, though:
-Only supports 4k @ 60hz, so if you have an Xbox S/X or PS5 with a 4k 120hz TV, it won’t let you go the full 4k @ 120hz
-You will also lose VRR and Low Latency Mode on certain TV’s. LG OLED’s being one. Could also be others.
-They need good ventilation. It’ll overheat if there isn’t. This is the case for all receivers, but this one in particular.
-MSRP is $379. It has gone on sale for $199 in the past. Currently $299 on mothership. Still a solid deal!
-Has Bluetooth, but no WiFi
If none of these are deal-breakers, I am sure you will absolutely love this awesome piece of tech wizardry. That crappy soundbar will just become a melee weapon in the zombie apocalypse.
It also doesn’t support HDR10+ so you’re SOL if using a Samsung display, and lacks eARC. Onkyo’s TX-NR6050 goes on sale for $300 pretty regularly the past few months (including right now, see link below) and it has way more capabilities for only $20 more. Upgrades from 5.2 to 7.2, 40% higher max output wattage, has zone 2 video, has wifi, has eARC, has HDR10+, and has 4K@120hz.

No WiFi, pass. There’s a lot of receivers in this price range that has WiFi
