Read the reviews. Sounds like they may not be genuine Plantronics based on review content.

Oh counterfeits definitely end up in Amazon warehouses all the time. Also, companies have created products specifically for Amazon that have inflated price tags but are always “on sale” to create an illusion of savings. As well as companies like under armour selling absolute trash shirts (like the tech 2.0 shirts) on Amazon banking off their old brand reputation, utilizing the fact customers don’t get to see/feel/try on products before buying - likely not to return them since they paid so little. So bait you in with brand rep, sell a cheap shirt you think you got at a deal, and then hoping the costs don’t justify you taking the time to return it.
