$29.95 at Amazon with Prime shipping. So two day shipping from Amazon for $1.95 more. A far cry from the deals woot! became known for.

Reviews are good overall. If you’re looking for a cigar or pipe lighter, I would suggest you keep looking, as the arc is small. Smaller than a cigarette, but gets the job done.

I agree it’s not much of a bargain and 30% of the reviews are 1-3 star. Lot of DOA’s and junk complaints.

I ordered this last time I saw it here. Gave as a gift to Father in law and Brother in law. They both really liked it and they worked just fine. Ordering again.

I love this lighter and ordered several for gifts, simple, easy and elegant with no fumes. A word of warning, however: avoid use with FBNYC Metal Tobacco Accessory, especially when standing in a wet spot. It’s not a nasty shock, but the tingling is mildly disturbing.

I bought this as a gift for my husband and one of our friends. Both are cigar smokers. Doesn’t work with cigars unfortunately because the arc isn’t high enough. Wish I’d ordered from amazon -at least I’d be able to return it. Nice paperweight now

I bought them for camping. They hold a good charge and work much better than matches or a lighter when you’re in windy/wet conditions. You can start a fire without going through a box of matches.

Anybody have any idea on how long this will hold a charge when not being used?

I’m thinking of throwing these in emergency kits but am a little worried that if left too long, it won’t be charged when I need it.

I purchased this for my hubby and adult son for Christmas, one of them has already broken (won’t charge) and Saberlights response was tell Woot…waiting to see what woots response is…for the one that still works, the beam is very small and makes it difficult to light anything but a cigarette or match.

Correct, these come with a 90-day Woot warranty so contacting our CS is the appropriate action. :slight_smile:
