Says it was great…more than two years ago.

What a Site Making things with Lite Brite!!!

59.00 after mail in rebate on newegg.com

way too expensive for 512 of ram, 1 gb is bare minimum I would put in any PC now

also $59 at newegg, but only after rebate.

the price is a thumbs up…but the idea of LED’s on your ram is a thumbs down

Even tho my MB has 4 slots, and I currently have 2, 1 gig cards installed… I’ll just add more 1 gig cards. My MB can handle a max of 4 gig of ram.

Now the flashy lights are tempting. However my current case is made of hardended steel. (It is a pain to cut or grind.) So the LED’s are pointless as no one would see them anyway.

Cool idea tho for cases with windows, and computers that are on display!

i’m a computer dumbass, but will this work with a notebook?

I’ve only every bought on WOOT once, but I tune in every day to read the awesome descriptions. Today’s “it’s” confusion made me oh, so sad… we expect more of you woot!

This is a pretty good deal. I went to tigerdirect and didn’t see any PC4000 memory at 512 that was cheaper than this…let alone with cool LEDs!

\o/\o/\o/ Three cheers for Woot!

Combine this with the Netgear router with the spinning blue LEDs from the woot-off and you’ll be ready to put on a nice light show for the fourth of July!

not that great if you play the rebate game… Newegg has them for $79. plus a $20 mail-in rebate makes it $59.00, plus only 4.81 shipping saves you a buck.29

I really enjoy the idea of Woot posting RAM forsale, but RAM with lights is idiotic. I shop woot for deals because im cheap, i dont have the money to afford fashionable RAM. Give me some nice, lame ol’ 1GB crappy ram anyday…

LED RAM is so 1337. Only n00b h4x0rs use regular RAM. Now my counterstrike buddies will give me the respect i deserve…

it’s $20 more at Newegg, but they have a $20 rebate, and slightly lower shipping

…so, it’s basically the exact same price here, but saves you having to mail in for a rebate.

This is useless to me. I put nothing but 2Gbit Dimms in my computer’s memory slots. Anything smaller is a waste of space. I guess if I had a machine with a 32-bit memory space I would be able to use, them, but I am retiring those as fast as I can. See you next time…

woot’s beat; why buy it quickly and regret it when you have newegg by your side? I can deal with a rebate, if it gives me time to do some research…

If it was 1GB it’d be hot, this is pretty cold considering you can get 2GB of OCZ Gold for like $160 at the egg.

Well…

The idea is interesting, if you have a transparent case. I can’t see how a few LED’s would up the price of 512MB that much though. If it were priced around RAM w/o LED’s, I might bite. Night all.

too bad it’s PNY… Those latencies do stink, and I’ve had horrible luck with budget PNY GeForce cards. I’ll pass

No. You need sodimm for a laptop.
