Check out this “very good” review from cnet and “good” review from pcmag.com

Let me start by saying I’ve tried/bought about 15 pairs of high end headphones. I have this pair and they are good, not as good as a shure or other super high end headphones. They don’t get as loud as my Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 (which is by far my favorite set of headphones)and the noise canceling isn’t as good as a Bose (i’d say its more like a able planet quality). all in all if you are on the fence on a new pair of headphones i’d go and get these. polk support is awesome too, i’ve had them send me new ear tips and the battery cover and i’ve never had any issues. their foam tips are my favorite i’ve used.

For this Price and Band. They are a steal for Noise Canceling Headphones. I bought them last time and Now getting a few more pairs for gifts. They ROCK.

PC Mag says: “Even songs with particularly challenging sub-bass frequencies, like the Knife’s “Silent Shout,” are delivered distortion-free, all the way up to maximum (and unsafe, by the way) listening levels.”

I just played this lame post-techno tune and there isn’t any discernible sub-bass on the song. Lots of muddy bass, though. It places into question the reviewers opinion of bass and steers me away from this purchase.

I’m on the fence…need some more users to convince me one way or the other.

Here is a link to a search at Polk Audio Forums. There are some extra results, but you can see what some of the folks thought about the Ultra Focus 6000’s

I got a chance to demo these for a week, and they were quite good at their price point.

The flat Kevlar cables were a nice touch and I think will add to their durability. You do need to power these on to use them, they aren’t passive. There is also a switch on the power pack that you can turn on so you can hear a conversation through a mic.

With all In Ear Monitors, its about the fit and seal to the ear canal. If you do buy these experiment with the different tips and see what works best for you. If you are planning to wear these for long periods of time, you might find the comply foam tips the most comfortable.

In for 1. At this price I can’t pass these up.

Q

ok…i’m in

Do the headphones have a button, or some other on-control way, to pause and restart music on an android phone?
