Are these new or reconditioned. From what I can tell haven’t been made in a few years???

They show as new on the Product page. I have never heard of this brand.

Is it just me or am I the only one leery of throwing anything with a 120v line to it into a salt water pool. Seems like a (at best) nasty shock waiting to happen…

I have always used Aquabots and Polaris Automatic Cleaners for 10 years and they are great. Its 120v to the transformer/control box. Then 12 to 24V DC to the unit in the water.

They are sealed very well, and I love having a robot. That and Salt Water Pool now, I never have to touch it. So worth it. But research the heck before spending the money.

Also, the outlet since outside poolside should be on a GFCI.

a robotic pool cleaner will CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
Just sayin’.
Because it did mine.
Reduces your use of chemicals and saves a ton of money that way.
Reduces your use of water as you don’t have to backwash your regular filter: this is good for both you and the planet.
They are actually amusing to watch, as well.
Again, it changed my life.

Just yesterday I bought a Smartpool NC52 robotic pool cleaner 600.00 at Pinch a Penny.Put it the pool this morning, and its all clean now.It runs for three hours, then shuts off.I love it,great investment for me.

5 year pool professional here. The aquabot is an awesome little cleaner for small - medium pools. I’ve worked on them many times and they’re a simple, yet effective design. Just don’t forget to move the pin on the axle to the opposite side regularly!!!
I’ve not seen the aquatron, but it looks like another maytronics dolphin ripoff… I’d steer clear of it.

The advertisement isn’t clear on the warranty available for the ecojet turbo. Is it the same as the warranty for the cobia?

I was waiting on these and was just about the pull the trigger on the cobia XL but I cannot find a working telephone number for aquatron anywere in the us.

Does anyone know how to get a hold of the support team? The only website I could find I’ve sent multiple emails to over the past 2 months and received exactly ZERO replies.

Actually, it looks to me like the aquatron isn’t a maytronics/dolphin but actually an aquabot product.

Someone feel free to correct me here… but most sites I find for support sell aquabot and this item… but not dolphin
