Hmm… I think that this would be cool for people that live in close quarters communities.

Except in this case “cool” is most definitely not the point. At this price I’m tempted to get some just to see if they’re as flimsy as it appears.

Perfect - I was just about to start my own website called “Does It Grill?” - In for 3.

True, it would be a hot ticket lol.

This looks to be a ‘single use’ item, then you burn it to the ground… err… with the rest of the umm… charcoal… shrug

perfect for college
i’m in for 1

In for 3!

Finally something pointless and relatively useless…Too bad its not the useless thing i wanted like some kind of USB gadget

Can you get more charcoal bricks?

USB Hibatchi!

Oh what the heck - if I keep telling myself I just wasted eleven bucks, then when they arrive it will be almost impossible for them to disappoint me.

in for one, cheaper than a salmon filet.

Virtually no smoke… can I use it indoors?

I’m not sure why anyone would want to. I’ll bet they’re “match light” … meaning imbued with special ignition easing chemicals which you really wouldn’t want anywhere near actual food. Normal briquettes will probably work fine, though you may only be able to use a few at a time. And the pan will probably burn through before the tenth time anyway, so if you do, place it on concrete or bricks or something fireproof. Which we should all do anyway, even the first time.

Does anyone know how long this takes to cool down, if the coal embers are removed?

Really lots of CO, good for indoor last supper.

We’re still not sure - we sent a bunch of people home with them to test indoor use, and never heard back from any of them…

Looks like expect to spend at least $1 for a charcoal brick. Prices I’ve been seeing is $36 for 36 bricks. At least seems like hardware stores might have them or the like. In November, buy.com had this for $10 and I believe sellout.woot has had these before but for more. I guess when I’m homeless and have to carry all my posessions on one very stacked vehicle, keep these close by where I can do cooking.
