swamp cooler. useless in NJ.

“Can be easily moved to various locations such as backyard patios, garages, recreational areas, warehouses, factories, workshops and other outdoor work areas”

Not true. These do not include the base with caster wheels. Water weighs 8.3 pounds per gallon, you will have to either drain it before you move it, keep it on a hand truck, or make sure your health insurance is up to date due to future back problems or hernia surgery.

It should state that in the description but we have to assume the lack of detail in the pictures means it does not include the casters.

Also, if you were to use an evaporative cooler outdoors, it’s better to use 10,000 CFM and move the unit away from the area that you intend to cool. These units are for spot cooling, definitely not for large outdoor patios.

Evaporative coolers work best when the humidity is 15% or less. Otherwise you’re just adding more humidity to an already uncomfortable situation.

It shows wheels in the picture.

It didn’t hit 100 in Seattle today. When are we going to start seeing space heaters on Woot?

Mine came with wheels. I move it where I want.

Bought one 6 months ago. Cheap both in price and quality but I like it. I remove the pad and cleaned out the plastic shavings so it didn’t get into the pump before I used it. And also had to tweak the squirrel cage a little because it was rubbing. So far no complaints since
