I got one of these on a previous deal for around the same price. The hole saws are absolutely terrible, but everything else has treated me right. Well worth the money and it’s nice to never have to dig through a drawer for the right bit ever again
I also got one last time. I agree about the hole saws. Some of the wood drilling bits (the longer ones) aren’t the straightest, but you can’t beat the price for this variety of accessories.
bought this here a year back. if you’re looking for daily use high quality, this isn’t it. if you’re looking for around the house odd job variety, you can’t beat this deal…i love this set and use it quite often
Do not get this set if you expect to use it on large tasks or daily work. And DONT overheat the bits even a little. Ive gone through 1 wizbit, 3 of the drivers and 5 regular bits in short order doing just everyday stuff, nothing crazy. But…the selection is nice and the concrete bits seem to have held up good.
I received this as a gift years ago, but I can honestly say I would buy it again if I needed to. As others have said the hole saws are quite awful, but overall it’s a really great kit. I’m always building things anyway (pot rack, bed frame, motorcycle stand, you name it) but this has served me well during our full gut job remodel. You get what you pay for and these are average quality bits, but they’ve allowed me to do small jobs like hanging things on the wall, building small projects, drilling both wood and metal that don’t require super nice tools. For things like drilling brick or using my drill press for precision work I buy nicer bits but overall it’s a great kit.
I’ve had some higher dollar hole saws that underperformed before. Trick is to really take your time and account for the wood you are drilling into. I take my sweet time.
