Porter-Cable 6 gal Oil-Free Compressor

Did someone say free pancakes?

I have one of these and only used it a handful of times over the past 3 years. It works good, but as anyone who has owned one for any length of time has discovered, the drain valve is trash. You will need to replace it. Home Depot sells a “Husky” brand ball valve which fits perfectly. A simple Google search for NPT air compressor ball valve will show results for this. Conditions of a failed drain valve are that it never opens to drain or never closes to keep air in.

The term “refurbished” scares me.
It usually means a product that was returned for whatever reason.
