I don’t think it would be fair to give a box to the person who invokes wootybot because it would effectively give them two posts for the price of one which is artificially inflating their chances of winning.
If it is the middle of the night and you hit the 10 post in a row limit, then that would need to be considered, though.
It’s a pickle that’s for sure, it is what it is but would be nice to know what it is that it is… In the form of lengthy rules full of lots of words, so long that nobody reads them and just agrees.

This way seems to be working well.
To do this, I’d need access to the mainframe (or at least the ability to run queries against the actual back-end database) but with that I could pump out some pretty cool stuff, I think. I don’t see this happening.
I did, however, look to see if the API allowed access to the forums, but it doesn’t appear to, so I didn’t bother requesting it.
