If I remember right, I was the first person to complain about not winning a bucket.
Pick me.

Youâre right!
We donât believe it.

or, at least, we refuse to accept it.
I donât believe theyâre fresh of anything.
@peaceetc â really, I wouldâve been more understanding if sheâd been sitting there alone. But Iâm thinking the two younger adults (kids? older grandkids?) donât have any form of dementia, and shouldâve started wondering what mom/grandma kept looking over at the door for. I wouldâve, and did whenever I visited Grandmother. Something would catch her attention out in the hall, and every time I would also look to see what it was. After all, if itâs registered on her awareness, then letâs talk about it, right?
@Goldielucks --oh, thatâs hilarious! Hope the hubs is happy with your bucket
@privateerx1 --Ohhh! You have a salt tank. Thatâs way more work than Iâll do. Seriously, I barely manage to take care of the sushisâ tank. Donât keep up with water changes at all, sometimes remember to change (and clean) out the filters. Which reminds me, itâs probably time to do that again. Luckily theyâre koi and hardy, so have adjusted to the way-high ammonia and everything else wrong with the water. And I do actually gravel-vac their poop every night. They are poop machines. Eat and poop and eat some more and poop even more. Thatâs their lives. But I do love them, and they do recognise my existence and even enjoy my presense when I sit on the davenport watching tv next to the tank.
@AHudgens --unless theyâve changed, yes. As in free free. FREE free, even. It was easy-peasy for me when I worked at that Purple branch. Iâd just go next door and tell them I needed some, and theyâd put them out back with a note âFor FX ladyâ But no real trick. I once had to call another store that was en route home and asked if they had any, and when they did asked if they could save them for me. Which they very happily did.
Well, I suppose the trick is, be polite and nice when asking.
Second and third and hundred-somethingth this!!! !!! !!! !!! !!!
@mareli83 --you didnât inc pepper. I donât remember what she did anymore, but I remember it was fabulous and incredible and looked like it took tons of time and effort, and she deserves the bucket or at least the virtual bucket since dave claims âthereâs no buckets leftâ (yeah right)
>'Kat
Sheâs the 5th one on my list of words. Although she didnât get a bucket from the cat, I did give her a âBucket,â in consolation.
I knew there was a trick. Hmmm.
I might have to try this âpolite and niceâ gambit.
Thanks for sharing your jedi ways, @SylvreKat
@renatuslives - AWESOME narrative! Truly epic!!
I meant in your poll. I canât vote 'cause my choice isnât an optionânamely, pepper!
@AHudgens - any time, young padawan. Any time.
So, have we heard anything from @robertscheffler or do we need to start @DuckyDucky -ing him ![]()
>'Kat
I like buckets
I think robertschefflerâs was delivered a while back so we should be at 100% bucket coverage once BlackRose13 gets theirs.
Or at least 100% delivered. Not everyone is proud enough to post about their bucket. Or maybe they already resold it on Amazon and made a tidy profit

I would have voted for @Se7enty9 since he was the only one in the top 19 most prolific posters who didnât get a lucky draw.
I must request the actual design/shopping list for this masterpiece!
My bucket has arrived! The cats explored it and Apollo claimed it as hisâŚ
Not sure how often heâll use it as he does love his plastic storage boxâŚ
Yay, Iâm glad you finally got it!! And your kitties are beautiful.
Horray! Welcome back to the states!
Not there yet⌠Iâm enjoying the last of my time in GermanyâŚ
I fly back at the end of JulyâŚ
Oooh for some reason I thought you were back lol. Well have fun!
