I probably have some of those cookbooks from my grandmother. I love vintage books. I like to collect books that have interesting dedications in the front. From Boyfriends or parents, it’s an interesting peek into the past. One of my fav vintage books is called “Advanced French for Exceptional Cats” it’s dedication reads " Nov 1993

I just realized the DATE had to be 1993, although it always looked like 1973 to me. Because the book wasn’t published until 1992!!
They made something called Chili Beef Soup that my dad and I used to love. Sadly, they stopped making that… 
I was flipping through the “Easy Oven Meals” last night and there were so many yummy looking recipes, I don’t know where to start! lol … You can tell that they’re old, though. They’re aimed at economic hard times (I guess everything old is new again, eh?)… one of the recipes calls for Vienna Sausages as the meat!
