I got 3 last time; they are actually really good and handy. Best thing is to slap a rechargeable 9 volt battery on there and you are good to go with a strong recharge and it is almost for free! Works well in the car also because the lighter plug swivels nicely and it can be positioned out-of-the-way.
AC power works nicely too. This is a really compact and efficient unit. I use it with an iPhone 3GS.

Does not work with iPad FYI. I have an iPhone 3GS and it works fine, but not with my iPad.
